Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning takes pride in sending NATE-Certified technicians into customers’ homes throughout North America every day. While this notation of being Nate-Certified definitely sounds reassuring, what does it truly mean?
NATE, an abbreviation for North American Technician Excellence, is the nation’s largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. NATE is the certification organization that was established by and has been acknowledged by the entire HVACR industry for nearly 20 years. However, not all technicians in the business are required to be NATE-Certified. The certification is discretionary and technicians can service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment without being NATE-Certified.
It’s essential to Service Experts that our team is NATE-Certified to make sure we are sending the most skilled technicians into our customers’ homes. To make sure technicians meet these qualifications, the NATE-Certification exams verify real-world working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems for technicians. The assessments are knowledge-based exams that evaluate the technician’s understanding of these guidelines.
Considering Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning focuses largely on the HVAC side of NATE-Certification, our technicians earn their designations in these areas. However, NATE assessment candidates may gain certification in any of these areas:
- Air Conditioning
- Air Distribution
- Gas Heating
- Oil Heating
- Heat Pumps
- Hydronic Gas (service only)
- Hydronics Oil (service only)
- Light Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
- Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
- Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer
- Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst
You can be sure that the technicians at Service Experts are highly competent and professional and will do the job right the first time. Our company has the knowledge and skill set to not only repair your HVAC systems, but to take the best care of your equipment.
