Why You Should Have Your HVAC System Inspected

April 13, 2016

No, not Batman. We are referring to Mr. Bruce who helped our friends Jamin and Ashley Mills from The Handmade Home. After deciding to buy a 40 year old home, the Mills (reasonably) elected to have the home’s HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system and ductwork assessed. Mr. Bruce, who you can see working on the system, has been in the heating and AC repair and maintenance business, coincidentally, 40 years. Was it destiny?

He was absolutely amazing. He’s kind of our new best friend, Ashley expressed on her and Jamin’s blog, The Handmade Home. She said that Bruce was a good sport and let the Mills bunch take pictures of him while he evaluated their home’s heating and air conditioning system. Looks to us like he was having fun.

At Norrell Service Experts, we provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee and were delighted to hear that Bruce was living up to our guarantee. The Mills said that Bruce was “like the calming father figure” and went on to say he is the “kind of man you call on for help and can absolutely trust.”

As we require all of our NATE-certified technicians to do, Bruce was certain to explain everything, and if he wasn’t confident they understood, the Mills said he took the time to explain it again.

Just like the Mills, a vast amount of homeowners have to make choices that affect their heating and air conditioning systems, beyond which system to purchase, such as (like the Mills) when [buying|purchasing|investing in]30] a home, do you keep the existing system, or does it need to be upgraded?

On top of answering their questions, the Mills learned the gravity of having thorough maintenance of an older system and, more important, “the importance of having the right person and company come out and do the service for you.”

While Bruce wasn’t able to provide solutions that were all perfect and rainbows, he was sincere and explained that the decisions made when choosing which heating and air conditioning system to invest in for your home affects your indoor air quality and the health of your kiddos (and their lungs!).

We are so proud of Bruce and him helping the Mills family with their recent air conditioning safety inspection and tune-up service. If you are considering upgrading your older system, have questions about your indoor air quality, or just need a seasonal tune-up, call Norrell Service Experts today and we’ll get you set up with one of our amazing technicians, just like Bruce!
