Sales Training
The sales training includes:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes annually.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes annually.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) different sales programs provided for General Managers semiannually, totaling 4.5 training days, focusing on sales culture and daily sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians contains:

  • Furnace and air conditioning tune-up procedural training semiannually
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ in the spring and fall
  • Continual NATE certification and specialty classes as needed

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in supplementary training through the roll out of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc courses to better train our technical workforce.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to give support, tools, and structure for operating a business from the P&L perspective.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times a year, conduct outbound calling through a one (1) day course. In this course we study heating, ventilation, and air conditioning basics, what drives people to purchase, calling techniques, scripts, customer purchase signals, and overcoming customer objections.

Dispatcher

  • No formal classes given. On the job training provided by the General Manager and relevant staff at the center.
